Attendance

Regular attendance is essential for a student’s success in the program. Any absence must be reported to the center in advance and may result in the student being required to make up missed work at their own expense. This may include extra assignments, additional classes, or online resources. If a student has an excessive number of absences, they may be required to repeat the course at their own expense.

Coursework

All coursework must be completed on time and to the satisfaction of the instructor. This includes assignments, quizzes, exams, and any other required work. Any work submitted after the deadline will not be accepted and will result in a grade of zero. Incomplete coursework will also result in a grade of zero.

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism and cheating will not be tolerated. Any student found to have engaged in academic dishonesty will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include failure of the course and/or dismissal from the program. This includes submitting work that is not their own, using unauthorized materials during exams, and collaborating on assignments without permission.

Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. This includes being respectful to other students, staff and instructors. Any behavior that is deemed to be disruptive or disrespectful will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action. This includes using offensive language, bullying, and harassment.

Disciplinary Action

Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to a warning, suspension, and dismissal from the program. The severity of the disciplinary action will depend on the severity of the violation.

Complaints and Appeals

Any student who has a complaint or concern about any aspect of the program should bring it to the attention of the center administrator immediately. The center administrator will investigate the complaint and provide a response within a reasonable time frame. Any decision made by the center administrator may be appealed to the GLE management.

Health and Safety

The center is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment. This includes ensuring that the facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe. Any concerns or issues related to health and safety should be reported immediately to the center administrator.

Cancellation and Refund

Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for more information about our Refund Policy.

Language

The medium of instruction for all courses is English. Students should have a C1 level of English language proficiency to be able to participate in the course. Students who struggle with the language may be required to take additional language classes at their own expense.

Online learning management system

The center uses an online learning management system (LMS) to support student learning. The LMS provides students with access to course materials, assignments, quizzes, and other resources. Students are responsible for checking the LMS regularly for updates and announcements. All coursework must be submitted through the LMS by the designated deadline. Technical issues with the LMS should be reported to the center administrator immediately.

Online Class Sessions

Some classes may be conducted online, in which case students are responsible for having a reliable internet connection and a device that meets the technical requirements for the LMS. Online classes will be conducted via video conferencing, and students are expected to attend the class at the designated time, have their camera and microphone on, and participate actively in class discussions.

Online Office Hours

Office hours with instructors will be held online, and students are expected to attend and participate in these sessions. Office hours are an opportunity for students to ask questions, receive feedback, and get additional support on coursework.

Online Communication

Students are expected to communicate professionally and respectfully with instructors and other students through the LMS and other online communication tools. Any inappropriate or unprofessional communication will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.

Certification

Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate from iTTi certifying their completion of the course. The certificate will include the student’s name, the course title, and the date of completion. The certificate may be used to apply for TEFL jobs or to demonstrate to potential employers that the student has completed a TEFL training course.
