Eligibility
All students who have successfully completed the 120-hour TEFL course offered by Global TEFL Training Center are eligible to take the certification exam.
Exam Format
The certification exam is an online, multiple-choice test consisting of 120 questions. The exam will test the student’s knowledge of grammar, teaching methodologies, and classroom management.
Exam Fees
The fee for the certification exam is $150. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full before the student can take the exam.
Exam Registration
Students can register for the exam by visiting the Global TEFL Training Center website and completing the registration form. The registration deadline is one week before the exam date.
Exam Dates
The certification exam is offered four times a year on the first Monday of January, April, July, and October. Exam dates will be announced on the Global TEFL Training Center website and through email.
Exam Results
Exam results will be emailed to the student within two weeks of taking the exam. A passing score is 80%.
Retake Policy
If a student does not pass the exam, they may retake the exam after a period of one month. The retake fee is $75.
Certificates
Students who pass the exam will receive a certificate of completion from the International TEFL Training Institute (iTTi). The certificate will be given to the student within two weeks of passing the exam.
Exam Proctoring
The certification exam will be proctored to ensure the integrity of the exam. Students will be required to have a webcam and microphone to take the exam.
Exam Security
The exam is secured by a unique login and password provided to each student upon registration. The exam may not be shared with any other person and doing so will result in disqualification.
