120-HOUR ONLINE TEFL/TESOL CERTIFICATION COURSE
with TUTOR

Our TEFL/TESOL online course is a fully accredited, independent study program that may be studied with or without a tutor. People who want to take an internationally-accredited TEFL/TESOL course but don’t have the time or money to travel to one of our training locations can take advantage of this online program instead.  Taking this course has several benefits, including the flexibility to study at your own speed, the accessibility from anywhere in the world, and the affordable cost of our online tuitions.

Students must be at least 18 years old, have completed high school or have an equivalent education background, and have an excellent command of spoken and written English before enrolling in the course. There is no classroom attendance nor teaching practicum because this is an online TEFL/TESOL course. However, you will be able to observe real EFL lessons through videos. You study the same course content as the onsite program throughout the program. This includes a comprehensive grammar review as well as class design.

You can expect to have gained the following knowledge by the end of the course:

  • Understand what it takes to become a great teacher.
  • Learn about past and present EFL teaching approaches.
  • Know how to organize and conduct an English class effectively.
  • Develop engaging lessons on a daily basis.
  • Acquire knowledge on how to teach various types of students.
  • Understand what your English language learners are experiencing.
  • Build your expertise in language skill development.
  • Get your students interested in learning, even about boring topics.
  • How to rectify speech and writing problems.
  • Assessment techniques that simultaneously improve accuracy and fluency.

Your personal tutor will review your assignments throughout the duration of the program. There are practice tests available to keep you on track. You are also eligible for two 45-minute meetings to receive more assistance if something requires further clarification. If you enroll in the course with a tutor, you will be able to select one of the following free specializations: Teach Business English, Teach Young Learners, or Teach TOEFL Preparation.

The course includes comprehensive career assistance services, including resume preparation, school lists, recruiter information, direct school recommendations, and employment leads as they become available. iTTi has its own schools in several Asian, European, Middle Eastern, African, and South and North American nations.
